MOUZ successfully defend their EPL title

Vitality fail to turn up in the Grand Final

The defending ESL Pro League champions, MOUZ were back in the Grand Final of ESL Pro League Season 19, defending their title against ESL Pro League Season 16 champions, Vitality.

The series kicked off on Vitality's pick of Inferno as MOUZ shut down an A-hit to secure the opening pistol. It was siuhy putting up the big numbers once again as MOUZ's captain powered them to a 9-3 lead to get the opening map underway. Overtime was on the cards as Vitality bounced back on their CT side but MOUZ closed it out with a couple of pistols and a Galil to lock in a 13-9 win.

A sloppy Vitality failed to capitalise winning their CT pistol on Mirage as MOUZ ran away with another 9-3 lead. MOUZ denied Vitality another comeback opportunity as they held on for a 13-8 win to go 2-0 in the Grand Final. Nuke saw MOUZ start with another dominant half, this time going one better to go 10-2 up on their CT side before wrapping things up at 13-5 to secure a comfortable 3-0 win in the BO5 Grand Final.

With the win, not only did MOUZ pick up the ESL Pro League Season 19 title but also make it back-to-back EPL titles, in a dominant manner.
