Victores Sumus pips CRESCENT in OT thriller

The final game of the second day of the Esportz Premier Series Fourth Edition Western Regional Qualifier saw Victores Sumus back in the server following their Skyesports Showdown 2024 match earlier in the day, and they were up against CRESCENT.

The BO1 took place on Ancient with SH4DY and GohaNNNNN^ salvaging what looked like a half that could get away for CRESCENT, turning around a 0-5 deficit to tie up the score on their T side. Recoilmsater made sure Victores Sumus weren't getting cleaned up in regulation as his AWP took them to overtime. GohaNNNNN^ came in with a crucial 1v3 on the B site to put CRESCENT on match point but Victores Sumus came in with a team ace in the final round of overtime to take us to overtime 2.

Victores Sumus eventually closed it out at 19-16 with Recoilmmaster ending the map with 37 kills. While Victores Sumus moves ahead to Round 3 in the upper bracket, CRESCENT will now take on INFINITY X in the lower bracket as BENZENE and co. will look to turn around their campaign from the lower bracket.
