910 becomes the first Asian to secure HLTV MVP honors
Yesterday, The MongolZ came back from a map disadvantage to take down Ninjas in Pyjamas in the grand-final of the YaLLa Compass 2024, bringing home the title. Being the only Asian representative at the event, The MongolZ came ahead of strong EU teams such as Astralis, HEROIC, ENCE, Eternal Fire, BIG and fnatic.
910, who wielded the AWP for The MongolZ was honored with HLTV's MVP status for the event - a cherry on top for Asian Counter-Strike. Not only was it 910's career first HLTV MVP but it was also the first time an Asian was awarded the MVP status. 910 was the second highest rated player at the event with a HLTV rating 1.25, trailing behind FURIA's KSCERATO at 1.29.
910's highest rated performance at the YaLLa Compass 2024 came against Ninjas in Pyjamas in the group stage where he dropped 20 frags on Nuke at and ADR of 119 with a HLTV rating of 1.70. For his performance in the grand-final, The MongolZ' IGL bLitz was awarded the MVP by the tournament organizer.
