Gladiator's League Season 4 Day 3: Recap
The action continued at the Gladiator's League Season 4 as the third day had four games lined up with the Group 2 advancement matches taking place.
ROG Academy vs Griffins
The first BO1 of the day brought us to a brawl between Griffins and ROG Academy on Anubis. The T-campaign kicked off for Griffins with a 4-0 start. But ROG Academy soon closed the gap to 7-5 at halftime. The second half saw a neck-to-neck affair as scores got tied thrice, with the end of regulation seeing a 12-12 score. In the overtime, it was ROG Academy to first reach match point. While Griffins looked poised to take the game to second overtime, ROG Academy regained control towards the end, bringing the game to a 16-14 finish.

Lethal vs Old School Esports
The second game of the day took us to Ancient, where Lethal started off their CT side with a 2-0 lead. While Old School kicked off the buy rounds with flying colours, overtaking Lethal to lead 3-2, they fell flat in the following rounds. As a result, they Lethal secured an 8-4 lead at halftime. The second half saw Lethal further their lead, as the scores read 10-4. However, the CT side favoured Lethal, as their clawed their way back to 12-12. The game didn't reach a conclusion until the second round of OT, as 43 kills from Cx powered Old School Esports to a 19-15 win.

Griffins vs Old School Esports
The lower bracket pitted Old School against Grffins on Anubis. Griffins started off their T-side with fires blazing, as they went up by 5-0. However, Old School managed to regain their footing, closing up the gap to 5-7 at halftime. iFRAGEZ went on a tear in the second half, as he earned a K-D of 30-9 to take Griffins to a 13-5 win on the back of a flawless CT half.

The final game of the day saw Griffins Esports face ROG Academy with the action taking place on Mirage. Both teams had already secured their place in the quarter-final thanks to wins earlier and this was the seeding game from Group 2.

Griffins' defensive side got things underway and it was a 4-0 start with PyRO starting strong. Griffins made sure to not let go of their early advantage as they started with a two-round lead. ROG evened out the pistols and took the lead of the map, going 9-7 up before a crucial clutch from H3cticC saw Griffins get their T side underway. Griffins made sure to close it in regulation, taking a 13-11 win to wrap up the Group 2 games and also book their place in the quarter-finals, going in as the top speed while ROG Academy also make it to the quarter-finals but as second seed.
