3DMAX send VP.Prodigy home

Maka stars for the French team

The second day of the Skyesports Championship 2024 Europe Closed Qualifiers kicked off with the third quarter-final which saw 3DMAX taking on VP.Prodigy.

The series kicked off on the French team's pick of Nuke which was a tale of two halves. It was VP.Prodigy's big defensive half that saw them go 8-4 up but 3DMAX put up a strong defensive hold of their own to take it to overtime after VP.Prodigy went 11-4 up following picking up the second pistol and conversions. It was a trade of rounds in overtime as well which eventually led to neither team willing to give an inch as we needed three overtimes to get a result, which went in favour of 3DMAX at 22-18.

Dust2 was a more comprehensive showing from 3DAMX as Lucky and Maka had a strong performances, helping their team locking in a 13-8 win. The win sees 3DMAX move into the semi-finals and will face the winner fo the Sashi vs Sampi game.
