True Rippers lets go of another golden opportunity

True Rippers takes the fight to BLEED but falls at the final hurdle

After their heart-breaking loss to The MongolZ on the opening day, home team True Rippers were back in action on the second day of Skyesports Championship 2024 as they took on BLEED, who suffered a big loss to ENCE earlier in the day. True Rippers bounced back after a poor opening half and were looking to cause a big upset but fell in the final few rounds to see BLEED get off the mark in Mumbai.

BLEED started Anubis with a 4-0 lead before Rossi's 1v1 against nawwk got True Rippers on the board. True Rippers pulled it back to take four CT rounds before they went on to tie up the score at 8-8 following the pistol win on their T side. True Rippers eventually made it eight-in-a-row to take the lead of the match and after nine rounds in a row, BLEED finally got a round on the board.

Over-extensions from the Indian team saw BLEED bounce right back into the match and BLEED made sure there was no upset taking place as they walked away with a 13-10 win. While BLEED nets their first win in India, True Rippers are yet to get off the mark after two close games and will be ack in action tomorrow against Aurora.
