FlyQuest book upper final in Oceania MRQ

FlyQuest met Rooster in their opening game at the Oceania MRQ leading up to the BLAST.tv Austin 2025 Major. A Liazz 3K with the duelies followed by Vexite's MP9 ace saw FlyQuest take the pistol and anti-eco on the CT-side of Mirage but were denied the bonus. Once the gun rounds began, FlyQuest continued to dominate but a late half fumble allowed Rooster to salvage a 5-7 half.

Switching over, Rooster had the chance to close the gap right away after winning the pistol round but they fumbled the anti-eco, off of which FlyQuest put up a six rounds streak to close out Mirage 13-6.

Inferno was a rinse and repeat of the first map as FlyQuest once again got off to a strong start on the CT-side but failed to capitalize, ending the first half with a 7-5 score line. Rooster after winning their T-side pistol round failed to convert the anti-eco again, allowing FlyQuest to run away with the map and eventually the series. A 13-7 win on Inferno saw FlyQuest close the series 2-0 and book their upper final clash against SemperFi.

Rooster head down to the lower bracket where they face ex-TALON who also suffered a 0-2 defeat in their opening game. Both teams have their backs against elimination.
