Lynn Vision starts strong at the China MRQ
Two of China's top teams in Lynn Vision and Rare Atom went up against each other at the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 China Regional Qualifier and it was a 2-0 from Lynn Vision to drop Rare Atom to the lower bracket and start their journey towards the Major with a big win.
Rare Atom's pick of Inferno got the China MRQ underway with Rare Atom starting with the T side pistol but a force buy win saw Lynn Vision reply immediately. The force buy win helped Lynn Vision run away with their CT half before a couple of B hits saw Rare Atom close out the half to keep it at a two round difference. The second half kicked off in the same manner as the first way as Rare Atom shut down an A hit to take both pistols on Inferno but an upgraded pistol hit on the A site saw Lynn Vision once again reply with the force. A dominant T side, powering into both sites saw Lynn Vision close out their opponents' map pick at 13-7, closing out the map on a B split with EmiliaQAQ on top of the scoreboard with 19 kills while Starry was close behind with 18.
Dust2 saw Rare Atom fight back late on their CT half to tie up the half, taking five rounds in a row to close out the half. A force buy win for Rare Atom threatned the need for a third map but a z4kr quad on the Scout and late impact from Westmelon saw Lynn Vision steal a 13-10 win to lock in the series 2-0. The win puts Lynn Vision into the upper bracket final at the China Regional Qualifier for the Austin Major 2025 while Rare Atom drop to the lower bracket and now are one loss away from being eliminated.
