Following their comeback on Nuke, Aurora looked like the favourites to take the Grand Final spot over 3DMAX but it was sloppy ending to Anubis which saw Aurora's dreams of making it three back-to-back Skyesports titles end after a 11-13 loss.

Following their 1-2 loss in the semi-finals of the Skyesports Championship 2024, Aurora's r3salt spoke with Dust2 India about the semi-final and the tournament overall.

How are your emotions after losing such a close BO3?

I can't describe my emotions. I think it was our map, the last one, Anubis. But I did some mistakes on the A site. And we lost it. It's my fault.

The comms looked all over the place. Even the audience could hear the players yelling while giving calls. Did it cause any problems?

Communication sucked on Inferno CT side. We just fucked up. KENSI, after the map was blaming us, that me and deko were silent. It's like our throats were disabled on the CT side of Inferno. But after the sides switched, we took some rounds but still lost.

Talk to me a bit more about Inferno. Were you guys not prepared for the map?

No no, I think they were better prepared. Because we were prepared for them, but their play-style changes a lot. I think it's because they just prepared better.

Are you satisfied with the overall results in the tournament?

Yeah we are happy with the results. We are just really tired. I think after this tournament, we will qualify for the RMR. I believe this.
