Shanghai Major: RMR roster lock date announced
Perfect took to X, putting out several significant updates related to the upcoming Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024's RMRs. In their post, Perfect World have announced the roster lock and substitute lock dates for the upcoming RMRs in Shanghai "To ensure that all teams advancing to Europe, Asia, and Americas RMRs can arrive in China to compete at the designated times."

All teams competing at the RMR should confirm and submit their roster's starting five on or before 7th September 2024 and any changes to the substitute candidates should be confirmed on or before 22nd September 2024.
The pre-RMR update to the Valve Regional Rankings that determines how teams are paired at the Europe, Asia and Americas RMRs will drop on 15th October 2024.
Once the RMRs run their course, the Perfect World CS2 Shanghai Major 2024 will kick off on 30th November 2024 with the opening stage and will run for over two weeks with the grand-final taking place on 15th December 2024.
