Perfect World opens registrations for RMR Open Qualifiers

The organisers of the first-ever Counter-Strike Major to take place in Asia, the Shanghai Major 2024, Perfect World have announced that the registrations for the RMR Open Qualifiers are live now.

Registrations have been made live for the Rest of Asia, Levantine and North Africa, Arabian, Oceania, East Asia and South African Open Qualifiers. For the Indian teams looking to make it to the first Asian Counter-Strike Major, they will have to sign up for the Rest of Asia Open Qualifier, which is schedule to take place on August 25 and August 26, 2024.

The top teams from the Open Qualifiers, will move into the Closed Qualifier, the winners of which will net themselves a RMR spot and move them one step closer to making the Shanghai Major. Two Indian teams, Gods Reign and True Rippers have already secured an Asia RMR Closed Qualifier invite.

The Rest of Asia and East Asian Open Qualifiers have 128 slots each while all the other ones have 32 slots.
