Rare Atom sets up rematch with TYLOO
The Consolidation Final of the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 China RMR Closed Qualifier saw Rare Atom face Teamwork for a place in the Grand Final with Rare Atom looking to set the score straight with TYLOO, after going down to them in the upper bracket final.
Rare Atom made short work of Teamwork on Vertigo, as they eased to 13-3 win with somebody and L1haNg both ending the map with ADR of over 100. A 0z 1v2 in the last round of the half helped Teamwork walk away with three CT rounds on Rare Atom's pick of Dust2. While Teamwork put up a fight on their T side, Rare Atom managed to deny any comeback attempts, closing Dust2 at 13-7. Teamwork's TEARS top fragged in the server on Dust2 with 25 kills and an ADR of 130, trying to keep his team in the battle but it wasn't enough as there was little to no support for him.
With the loss, Teamwork's journey at the China RMR Closed Qualifier comes to an end and it will be Rare Atom taking on the high-flying TYLOO in the Grand Final of the China RMR Closed Qualifier, scheduled to take place at 16:30 IST today.
