True Rippers send Forward Gamingg home

Rossi and co. keep lower bracket run going

It wasn't the ideal start for True Rippers in the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 Asia RMR Closed Qualifier but True Rippers bounced back after a disappointing loss to Niory to keep themselves alive in the lower bracket. Heading into the second day, they had Forward Gamingg up first in the lower bracket semi-final as they were looking to make it to the Asia RMR from the lower bracket.

It was a 6-0 start for True Rippers on their pick of Ancient as the Indian team started strong on their T side. Forward Gamingg pulled it back at the end of the opening half, to walk away with four CT rounds. While Forward fought back on their T side, True Rippers barely avoided overtime, hanging on for a 13-11 win.

A dominating T side from True Rippers saw them start Mirage with a massive 10-2 lead as Forward struggled to keep up with the Indian team. It was a formality on their CT half as True Rippers closed out Mirage at 13-2 to pick up a crucial 2-0 series win.

The win keeps True Rippers alive in the lower bracket of the Asia RMR Closed Qualifier and they are set to face the winner of the ONi/Niory game in the lower bracket final later on today itself.
