IHC steamroll ATOX in MESA Pro Series Fall 2024 Finals
It was IHC taking down compatriots ATOX in a one-sided affair in the Grand Final of the MESA Pro Series Fall 2024 Finals which had two on Mongolia's best teams go up against each other in a BO5 encounter.
The BO5 Grand Finals kicked off on ATOX's pick of Nuke with IHC's defensive half getting things going. A four-round lead on their CT half set the platform for a comfortable win on Nuke for IHC with Zesta and Efire topping the scoreboard with 21 and 20 kills each which saw them lock in a 13-6 win. Ancient was an even more dominant showing from IHC, as on their map pick, it was ariucle and Efire leading the charge on their T side to go 9-3 up before a flawless CT half saw them close out Ancient at 13-3.
Inferno finally saw ATOX start strong, finding their footing on the T side with six rounds on their offensive half. It was a back-and-forth second half with Efire closing out a map with a 1v2 on the A-site which saw IHC take a 13-11 win to win the series 3-0, without dropping a single map in the final.
IHC goes home with not only the title by a prize money of $7,500 while ATOX's second place finish nets them a prize money of $2,500. IHC and ATOX had already booked their spots in the eXTREMESLAND 2024 main LAN event after winning the MESA Pro Series 2024 Fall Stage 1 and Stage 2 respectively.
