Falcons core benched
Through a post on X, Falcons have announced that dupreeh, Maden and Snappi and will be moved away from their active Counter-Strike 2 roster, on to the bench. The announcement comes shortly after Falcons' disappointing run at the European RMR for the Perfect World Shanghai 2024 Major.
In their statement, Falcons have expressed their intent to rebuild their Counter-Strike 2 roster around the retained player, Magisk and the team's coach and five times Major winner zonic.
Missing the Shanghai Major has been an incredibly disappointing and heartbreaking setback for us
Falcons
Falcons have been at the forefront of the community's talking points often since their arrival to the competitive Counter-Strike scene earlier this year and more so after bringing in s1mple, one of the legends of the game, on a loan from NAVI.
Falcons undergo their second significant overhaul following their first one after a failed RMR run for the PGL Copenhagen Major earlier this year. The ENCE trio who were brought in to round off the lineup- Snappi, Maden and SunPayus unfortunately could not take the org far in their ventures.
Confirming s1mple's statement from a while back, Falcons have also announced that they would not extend the loan agreement to keep s1mple with Falcons. Falcons CS2 roster now reads as follows:
Magisk
zonic (coach)
Snappi (benched)
dupreeh (benched)
SunPayus (benched)
Maden (benched)
