Asia to be excluded from ESL Impact 2025

ESL have announced their plans for the ESL Impact circuit in the upcoming year, 2025. The circuit comprises of four online events and two LAN events at the moment with the LANs taking place in Dallas and Stockholm.

The qualification cycle for the first ESL Impact event in 2025, the ESL Impact League Season 7, begins at the end of January which then leads into another online tournament featuring teams who have cleared the open qualifiers. Regional closed qualifiers will determine two teams each from North America and South America followed by four teams from Europe who will compete at the Season finals.

Previously a part of the circuit, Asia has been excluded from the ESL Impact circuit in 2025 as the open qualifiers will only run in North America, South America and Europe. HSG was the last Asian team to be a part of the ESL Impact League last year when they cleared the group stage but went down in the semi-final.

ESL Impact has gets a Seasonal Club Incentive to reward teams for creating long-form and short-form content. Each season of the ESL Impact will hand out $350,000 USD in winnings with $100,000 going towards the club prize money, $125,000 USD each for short-form video series and long-form video series.
