Victores Sumus run through Big W to make Rivalry Rush: First Contact Final

Victores Sumus sent Big W packing in the semi-finals of Bharat Ascend Esports' Rivalry Rush: First Contact, as BENZENE and co. put in a dominating performance to 2-0 f1redup and CycloneF's Big W.

The opening map was Big W's pick of Ancient, which saw them start their T side with the pistol and conversions before a late CT resurgence saw Victores Sumus tie up the scores. A near flawless T side from Victores Sumus saw them close out their opponent's pick at 13-7 with their captain ChAmP closing things out with a clutch on the A site.

On their home pick of Nuke, it was a lop sided affair as Victores Sumus' T side saw them race away to a 5-0 start with arakyN's openers giving Victores Sumus the early man advantage on multiple occasions before CycloneF made sure to not drop a 2v1 to arakyN. Big W's defence looked hopeless as Victores Sumus ran away with the half with Big W managing one more CT half apart from the CycloneF clutch which saw Victores Sumus start with a 10-2 lead.

A quick B shut-down from Victores Sumus saw them lock in both pistols on Nuke but a couple of sloppy rounds saw Big W pick up a few T rounds before Victores Sumus finally closed their pick at 13-7 to take the series 2-0.

The win sees Victores Sumus move into the Grand Final while its not all over for Big W as them making the semi-finals means even though their First Contact run comes to an end, Big W have still made it to the main event, The New Order.
