Known today for their sophisticated approach and consistency towards the game, Gods Reign came into existence in 2018 holding a PUBG Mobile roster, actively participating in tournaments for the same. Gods Reign's maiden title win also came in PUBG Mobile at PUBG Mobile Campus Championship India 2018.

Gods Reign have often shown interest in investing into the PC gaming arena and their final push came with the announcement of Skyesports Masters 2023. This was when Gods Reign fully committed towards fielding a Counter-Strike roster and in early June, Skyesports announced Gods Reign as one of the partner teams for Skyesports Masters 2023.

Gods Reign kicked off their Counter-Strike journey with a Skyesports Masters title win

Gods Reign strategically curated a formidable CS:GO roster, initially recognizing exceptional performances of Crazy_Gamer & KiiLSwitCh in the World Esports Championship 2022. Seizing a prime opportunity during Skyesports Masters 2023, they acquired seasoned veterans Crazy_Gamer, KiiLSwitCh, and clouda, complemented by the addition of Ph1NNN, a promising talent and India's #1 ranked FACEIT player at that time and one of the best AWPers in the nation, rev3nnnn.

Gods Reign brought in pokemoN, one of the region's best players, to take over coaching responsibilities. The dynamic between pokemoN and Crazy_GAMER clicked big time for the team, taking them across the line in various high profile tournaments.

Gods Reign's zenith arrived at Skyesports Masters 2023, India's grandest Counter-Strike event to date. Starting with a couple of alternating wins and securing a playoffs spot, Gods Reign faced formidable opponents in the semi-finals, taking down the favored Marcos Gaming led by the masterful IGL, DEFAULTER. In a meticulously prepared finals against Revenant Esports, Gods Reign showcased a level of preparation that nullified every tactic thrown at them, securing victory and claiming the Skyesports Masters 2023 title. Gods Reign's win at Skyesports Masters 2023 netted them a Skyesports Souvenir 2023 qualifier spot. In the Indian qualifier Gods Reign went up against Revenant Esports, Reckoning Esports and Marcos Gaming. Putting up a flawless 3-0 streak in the initial phase, Gods Reign qualified as India's representative for the main event.

With dominant wins against Nepal and Pakistan, Gods Reign were one step away from an International trophy. They went up against UAE in the finals. The matchup was as close as it could get with both teams on top of their game. A victory in overtime sealed the deal for Gods Reign, winning out Skyesports Souvenir 2023.

After their run at Skyesports Souvenir 2023, Gods Reign ascended to become India's #1 CS:GO team as per HLTV's regional rankings update in early October. They held the position for nearly a month before being dethroned by Marcos Gaming.

Not long after their International title win, in a shocking move Gods Reign swapped rev3nnnn for f1redup. At the time, f1redup was playing for Revenant Esports and the sensational Indian AWP was India's #2 ranked FACEIT player at the time.

f1redup was the latter of two roster changes. Gods Reign had already brought in CycloneF in place of Ember. With CycloneF, Gods Reign had won Esportz Premier Series 2023 Qualifier 1 and Taiwan Excellence Gaming Cup 2023, while f1redup made his Gods Reign debut in the Intel Tulpars Reloaded 2023 - GCC Regional Finals.

Gods Reign ripped through teams in the ESEA Open Season 47's regular season. Flying off to a 5-0 start, they made it to the playoffs conceding just three matches. Gods Reign secured an ECL Relegation spot for Season 46 but only managed to secure a fifth place finish.

With victories at Skyesports Masters 2023, Skyesports Souvenir 2023, Blink Entertainment's CS:GO Pro League 2023,Dust2 India - 1xBET Masters #1 and #2 Gods Reign got off to a great start in their Counter-Strike chapter.
