CS GO Pro League 2023 Group Stage Day 1: Review

The Group Stage of Blink Entertainment's CS GO Pro League 2023 with a INR 1 lakh prize pool got underway with two games on the opening day.

The opening game was between FIREDUP Gaming and Original Gangsters (OG), with the BO1 getting underway on Inferno. FIREDUP started on the CT side and after taking the pistol, the CTs went on a five round streak before OG got their first T round.That one round was all that OG got in the half as FIREDUP ended the half with a nine-round streak to take at 14-1 lead.

FIREDUP picked up their T sided pistol and it was a dominating 16-1 win for them, posting a well-rounded team performance with L0ngBarrel, n1kace and ChAmP topping the scoreboard with 19, 18 and 18 kills respectively.

The second game of the day saw L.O.T Gaming take on ROG Academy with the action getting underway on Overpass. L.O.T Gaming secured the map at 16-11 with R2B2, tsukiHAHA and WD leading from the front with 28, 24 and 23 kills respectively.

The matches continue daily till 7th September, with the semifinals scheduled for 9th September, 2023.
