Skyesports announce Skyesports Championship 5.0

Skyesports bring yet another massive event to India, this time with the 5th edition of Skyesports Championship. Skyesports Championship 5.0 will feature three esports titles - BGMI, Real Cricket and of course CS2.

Shiva Nandy, CEO of Skyesports, has been building up the hype for the CS2 tournament, previously announcing that 2 "Popular European" Teams will be participating and now adding a third to that list.

While details are still to come about the teams themselves, bringing back European competition to the country is a massive win for fans and for the level of play.

Previously Dreamhack events in the country featured the likes of Bravado Gaming (with JT and Sonic), Hellraisers (ANGE1 and nukkye) and Pro100 (YEKINDAR, nickelback and Waylander).

The CS2 tournament will be played in December with some of the best Indian teams alongside the previously mentioned 3 or more European squads. It will be a true benchmark for Indian teams to test themselves against International Competition and should help improve the local scene's understanding of the game.
