Rise of Legion CS2 - Online Qualifiers Round of 16: Recap

The Esports Club's first CS2 event, the Rise of Legion Kolkata's Round of 16 day 1 action saw 3 live-streamed games and five-off stream games, as the teams were all set to battle it out for the INR 2,00,000 prize pool.

ROG Academy vs Team Khatarnaak

Vertigo was the place of action and ROG Academy got things underway on the CT side and it was a clean pistol from the defensive side to get the match started. Khatarnaak answered back with a force-buy which helped them go on to take a 7-5 lead at the end of the first half.

It was Khatarnaak who seemed like they would run away with the match but ROG weren't giving in easily as they came back to pick up the map at 13-11.

Fight4Fame vs Hari Om Esports

The second live-streamed game saw Fight4Fame take on Hari Om Esports. Hari Om started with the T sided pistol win and a neck-and-neck half saw the opening half end with a 6-6 tied score.

Fight4Fame started the second half with a B hit conversion to take the pistol and lead of the map. Like the opening half it was another tight half which saw Hari Om just about managing to pip Fight4Fame at 13-11.

Airavata Esports vs Rewonation Esports

Airavata got things started on Vertigo with a CT-sided pistol win and although there were a couple of technical issues delaying the game, Rewonation made sure Airavata didn't take a lead on their CT side as it was a 6-6 half. While the first half was a back-and-forth affair, Airavata ran away with the second half to pick up the match at 13-7.
