Report: Gods Reign set to sign Revenant Esports player

After a lacklustre performance at DreamHack Hyderabad 2023 where they failed to make it out of the Group Stages at the LAN event, Gods Reign appears poised to make some alterations to their roster.

Dust2 India has learnt from a source that the team is set to remove Ember from their starting lineup. Ember had joined the main roster after the departure of KillSwitCh’s following their victory at Skyesports Masters 2023.

The source revealed Gods Reign is set to sign CycloneF, who was signed by Revenant Esports in September 2023. This change is expected to transpire following the conclusion of the Grand Final of Taiwan Excellence Gaming Cup 2023, scheduled for November 18th, where Gods Reign will take on Legacy Esports.

Dust2 India has also learnt that Revenant is looking replace CycloneF with Catastr0phE. The latter played a crucial role in propelling FiredUp Gaming to the semi-finals at the recently concluded DreamHack Hyderabad 2023.

Gods Reign's new roster has already made their debut at the Esportz Premier Series 2023, as CycloneF was seen in the server with Crazy_Gamer and co. Gods Reign will take on Enigma in the Grand Final of the event.

The tournament also saw Revenant Esports debut their roster with Castastr0phE as they made it to the final four where they bowed out to Enigma Gaming.

It is not confirmed whether the Esportz Premier Series was CycloneF's trial with the team or if he's been already signed and it was his debut or not. . Dust2 India made attempts to seek comments from both parties involved. While Gods Reign declined to provide a statement, we were unable to secure a response from Revenant at the time of publication.
