ESL updates rulebook
Amidst sources shining light on GameSquare’s FaZe acquisition, ESL have added new sections to their rulebook addressing conflict of interest among players and team staff. Two sections addressing the same can be seen in the rulebook.
“Players and coaches submitted as part of the team are not allowed to have any financial interest in the success of any other participant that is competing in the same competition.”

Regional classification has been altered and the five main regions for world events are as follows:

Asia

Europe and Africa

North America
-
Oceania
-
South America
ESL Challenger League teams are now allowed an extra change in terms of roster, making it three. However, teams should retain majority of their starting lineup from the previous season, until they have completed a major part of the first stage of the regular season.
This rulebook update also whitelists three bugs which are:

Covering the bomb with objects in the map or graffiti spray

Using graffiti spray to track the bomb timer
