FMPONE returns with new Counter-Strike map

Counter-Strike’s mapping veteran FMPONE took to X, to announce the release of his new map, DE_THERA on the Counter-Strike 2 workshop. Set on the volcanic island of Santorini, Greece, the map is designed for 5v5 defusal game mode.

The map features elements of Greek architecture surrounded by vibrant colours. The map slightly diverts from the traditional four-squared layout but still makes it work for competitive gameplay. From clear blue skies to ambient indoor pathways, the project leverages the full potential of Source 2’s lighting capabilities.

Earlier this year, FMPONE had also mentioned about his plans to work on a full “head to toe” remake of DE_CACHE which will resemble the original active duty version of the map more closely.
