PGL Major 2024: Rest of Asia qualifier registrations end soon
The registrations for the PGL Copenhagen 2024 Major's Rest of Asia qualifier are ongoing and will end soon. The open qualifier goes live on 17th January 2024 after which, a closed qualifier with invited teams will kick off on 19th January 2024.

The opportunity is handed down to Indian teams on a silver platter given that one of the server hosting locations of the Rest of Asia qualifier is India. Following are some of the Indian teams that have registered for the open qualifier:

A maximum of 128 teams will compete in the open qualifier, battling it out in a single elimination bracket. Top eight teams will undergo one round of Bo3s for qualification and elimination, after which the bracket reverts to a Bo1 setting.
Top four teams from the open qualifier will advance to the closed qualifier alongside invited teams. PGL will hand out invites to teams based on Valve's regional rankings as of December 18th 2023. The closed qualifier will run a double-elimination bracket with elimination matches being Bo3s.
One team from the closed qualifier will make it to the Asia-Pacific RMR. The RMR will feature eight teams, including open qualifiers winners from different regions. A top two finish in the Asia-Pacific RMR will lock the deal and seal an appearance at Counter-Strike 2's first Major at Copenhagen.
