IEM China 2024 invited teams revealed
ESL have announced the invites sent out for IEM China 2024. Six partner teams - FaZe, G2, Furia, Heroic, Astralis and MOUZ have secured direct invites to the event. Based on their placement in the ESL World Rankings Complexity, Cloud9, Virtus.pro and Monte make it to the main event.
The final six slots are to be decided through regional qualifiers. So far, Lynn Vision have booked their spot through the Chinese closed qualifier where they defeated TYLOO.
One team each from the Asia, North America, South America, Oceania and Europe closed qualifiers will secure their spot at IEM China 2024. TYLOO will get a second chance to qualify from the Asia closed qualifier.

The closed qualifiers will feature a 50-50 composition between invited teams and teams qualifying from open qualifiers. One team from each closed qualifier will make it to the main event.
