The Draft Pakistan Qualifiers Grand Final: Preview
After a week of action in the Pakistani qualifiers of The Draft, we finally have reached the final day's action. Here's a look at the Grand Final match-up and the fifth position game as well which will decide the final team for the Group Stages.
Team Paradox vs Come Mid 18:00 PKT (FIFTH PLACE DECIDER)
The first game of the day will be the fifth position game between Team Paradox and Come Mid with the winner of the game set to book their spot in the Pakistan Group Stages of The Draft.
After getting a couple of byes, Team Paradox faced PAK BOYZ on Day 3 of the Pakistan qualifiers, where they were hammered. Team Paradox though battled it out against RICARDO MILOS in the Quarter-final loser's match and beat them 13-10 to make sure they are still in the running for a spot in the Group Stages.
Facing Team Paradox will be Come Mid who hammered Vessel 13-1 in their campaign opener and took down Guardian5 13-8 before going down 5-13 to Team vrn. The journey isn't over yet though for Come Mid as they will have one final chance to secure themselves a spot in the Group Stages.
Aimstars vs PAK BOYZ 20:00 PKT(GRAND FINAL)
After facing a scare on the opening day, Aimstars had comfortable run through the open qualifiers before facing Team vrn in the semi-finals. A quick 13-7 in the series opener on Nuke and holding their own on Ancient at 13-9 saw Aimstars become the first team from the Pakistan qualifiers to book their spot in the Grand final of the qualifiers.
Going up against Aimstars will be PAK BOYZ who like their opponents had a strong run in the open qualifiers stage, easing past Elo Donors and Team Paradox. In the semi-final, PAK BOYZ faced Team Mystic who were hammered in two straight maps by PAK BOYZ. PAK BOYZ dropped a total of 7 rounds only in the semi-final and head into the Grand Final high on confidence.
