Aurora announced as first Skyesports Grand Slam 2024 invited team

The first invited team for the Skyesports Grand Slam 2024 LAN event has been revealed and it is Russian team Aurora.

The Russian team will be present in Pune for the LAN event which will consist of 4 teams. The four teams will be decided from the OCE Qualifiers, Indian Qualifiers and 2 invited teams. While Bad News Kangaroos have booked their spot, qualifying through the OCE Qualifiers, Aurora's announcement makes two out of the four teams public. One more invited team is left to be revealed along with one team from the Indian Qualifiers.

The Indian Qualifiers starts from February 21, 2024 and will have two stages - the Open Qualifier and Closed Qualifier, with the top team booking their place in the $50,000 LAN event.

The main event is scheduled to take place at the Messe Global Laxmi Lawns in Pune between March 14 - March 16, 2024.
