s1mple returns with surprise move to Falcons
In one of the most unexpected moves in Counter-Strike history, s1mple has been signed by Saudi Arabian organisation Falcons, with the Ukrainian star joining Falcons from Natus Vincere (NAVI) on a one-month loan.
s1mple will be filling in as Falcons has announced the benching of BOROS. BOROS was the only member from the previous Falcons lineup before zonic took over and rebuilt the team with Snappi, Magisk, Maden and SunPayus.
Falcons stated that they had benched BOROS due to 'performance reasons' and are looking to 'rebalance the formation of the roster'. Falcons' assistant coach Rafael 'Feldman' Rodriguez has also parted ways with the organisation.
s1mple has been inactive since the end of the ESL Pro League Season 18 and is yet to make his official Counter-Strike 2 debut. The news also comes just a couple of days after Falcons were eliminated from the PGL Major Copenhagen Europe RMR A.
s1mple will be moving to a rifle role with Falcons announcing that Spaniard SunPayus will continue to wield the AWP. s1mple previously had spoken about switching to a rifle role from the AWP when CS2 had initially launched.
With s1mple joining the team, the Falcons roster currently is:
-
Snappi
-
Magisk
-
SunPayus

Maden
