IEM Chengdu 2024 groups revealed

IEM took to X to reveal the groups and opening matchups for IEM Chengdu 2024. The event marks ESL's return to China after four years.

IEM Chengdu will host a double elimination bracket across two groups with the top three teams from each group advancing to a single elimination bracket playoffs. Lynn Vision and TYLOO are the Asian representatives at the event, with Lynn Vision coming fresh from the recent PGL Copenhagen 2024 Major.

The opening stage sees electrifying matchups like Liquid taking on HEROIC. This will be cadiaN's first time facing the new HEROIC, after the org's elaborate and dramatic series of incidents in the recent past.
