True Rippers bounce back in style

After going 1-1 on the opening day of Skyesports Masters 2024 Indian Closed Qualifier, the lower bracket games got the second day underway with True Rippers fighting for their spot in the qualifiers against Crescent.

True Rippers' pick of Vertigo got things underway and it was True Rippers' T side got things underway as DEFAULTER and co. ran away to a 9-1 start with Rossi and Mcg!LLzZz just opening up both bomb sites with ease while keeping their opponents' economy in check which hurt Crescent more.

A straight up smoke defuse stick from Knightriderrr finally saw Crescent get their second round but it was all True Rippers as they started with a 10-2 lead. A flawless CT side saw True Ripper start the series with an easy 13-2 win on their own pick.

True Rippers kicked off their opponent's pick of Anubis with the T sided pistol. It was another big start from True Rippers as they started with six in a row before a Benzene multi-kill round helped Crescent get on the board. It was another crucial round from Benzene, who came in with a clutch to give Crescent their second but it was True Rippers once again with a big T sided start at 9-3.

Crescent started with the second half pistol and a CycloneF 1v3 would've seen them go 6-9 but Mcg!LLzZz denied the former Gods Reign man a hero play to see True Rippers get their tenth. A strong T side from Crescent themselves saw them tie the score at 10-10. True Rippers eventually shut out Crescent at 13-10 to make sure the series was closed in two maps.
