Home hero sends G2 to semi-finals
The final quarter-final of the PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 had MOUZ take on G2 with the winner set to take on Natus Vincere in the semi-final.
G2 started their pick of Inferno with an 8-4 lead. It seemed like G2 would run away with the map but a couple of important clutches from Jimpphat and siuhy kept MOUZ in the game. HooXi's Banana pushes had been an issue for MOUZ throughout the game it was another bold play from G2's captain which saw them take a 13-9 win.
G2 started hot once again, going 6-0 up on their CT side to start Vertigo. MOUZ pulled it back to secure five T rounds but once the teams switched sides and following the unfortunate incident which resulted in a short break, G2 stormed themselves to a 13-6 win.
G2 will now face NAVI in the semi-final following the former's win over Eternal Fire earlier in the day.
