ROG Academy, 2ez Gaming secure opening round wins

Day 1 of GG LEAGUE RAMADAN RIVALS - Qualifier 4 comes to a close and Indian teams ROG Academy and 2ez Gaming secured opening round wins meanwhile Revenge Esports did not show up for their match.

Round 1

  • ROG Academy vs Procrastinators

After conceding the initial few rounds on Ancient, ROG Academy bounced back to secure a 7-5 half in their favor. Procrastinators gave ROG Academy a run for their money in the second half with back and forth trades but eventually ROG Academy closed out Ancient 13-11, thanks for ExZite fragging out in the second half.

  • 2ez Gaming vs GAMINGHIB

The bo1 took us to Ancient where Kuzur1 and Recoilmastr put on a show in the first half, taking the game away from GAMINGHUB with a massive 11-1 half. abdulsami34 stepped up in the second half to briefly show life in GAMINGHUB's T-side but the climb was too steep and 2ez Gaming closed out the map 13-6 with everyone stepping up.

  • Revenge Esports did not show up for their match against khatru peek, giving the Pakistani team a free pass to the second round.

Round 2

  • ROG Academy vs Team Kourage

Going up against Team Kourage on Vertigo, ROG Academy fought tooth and nail, sending back and forth trades to end an even 6-6 half but went ballistic in the second half, dropping just a single round to close out Vertigo 13-7 and crash Team Kourage out of the qualifier in the 2nd round.

  • ELO DELIVERY vs 2ez Gaming

2ez Gaming kept things competitive on their CT-side of Nuke with a level 6-6 half. The Indian team struggled to get going on their T-side as ELO DELIVERY sprinted to match point. 2ez Gaming strung up 3 rounds in a row in a vague comeback attempt but ended up conceding the map 13-9.

2ez Gaming's exit in the 2nd round, leaves ROG Academy as the only Indian team in the 4th qualifier.
