TheMongolz qualify for ESL Challenger Jonköping 2024
The Grand Final of ESL Challenger Jonköping 2024: Asian Closed Qualifier pitted the two best Asian teams, Lynn Vision and TheMongolz in a BO3. The BO3 kicked off on Lynn Vision's choice of Overpass, where the first saw both teams chaining together 3 rounds in tandem. As a result, the first half ended with an even score of 6-6.
The second half saw TheMongolz steer ahead with a lead of 10-6, but the scores again got tied at 11-11. However, despite a semi-buy, TheMongolz turned the tides once again, sealing the map with a 13-11 victory.
The second map Ancient saw a similar narrative unfold, as Lynn Vision could only manage 6 rounds on their CT side, culminating the first half with an even score. On the contrary, TheMongolz asserted dominance on their CT Side. Despite losing the second pistol, they only conceded a total of 2 rounds throughout the half, securing a 13-8 win.
