PGL dominate in viewership numbers

PGL took to X, to announce that their new viewership records for having hosted the top three most watched Counter-Strike events of all time. PGL's Majors in Stockholm, Antwerp and Copenhagen holds the record for the highest peak viewership in CS tournaments.

It comes as no surprise that PGL Stockholm 2021 was the most watched Major in the game's history as it was the first Major in two years after the pandemic halted all LAN events. The finals between NAVI and FaZe saw peak viewers with over 2.7 million people watching.

PGL Antwerp 2022 and CS2's first Major, PGL Copenhagen 2024 are the other two entries in the top 3 with peak viewership numbers of 2.1 million viewers and 1.8 million viewers respectively.

Leading up to the Major, PGL CS2 RMR 2024 cemented itself as the most watched Counter-Strike RMR event of all time with Europe's RMR B peaking with over 8 million hours of watch time as the community eagerly followed donk's road to the Major.
