Gods Reign secures ECL S48 spot
Gods Reign's ESL Challenger League Season 47 -Asia campaign was anything but smooth sailing for Bhavi and co. but late resurrengence bolstered with their star AWPer reV3nnnn's inclusion sees them secure a spot in the ESL Challenger League Season 48.
After a struggling start, with the Indian team having CycloneF stand-in for reV3nnnn, with the latter unavailable to play, Gods Reign were right at the bottom of the table to kick things off initially. Gods Reign, though, turned it around, with their backs up against the wall as they ended the season with six wins out of their last eight games, which propelled them to an ECL S48 spot.
Gods Reign finish the ESL Challenger League Season 47 - Asia at the 12th spot on the table and have secured an ECL Season 48 spot. They finished their final game against MiraiGaming 1-1, had they won both the BO1s they would've secured a Playoffs spot.
Gods Reign's captain spoke about the team's performance this season and also was confident about his team's chances in the upcoming season.
Overall I think we played decently, without the main lineup, but we had a chance to make it to the Playoffs although we fell short right at the end. I am confident we will make the Playoffs next season.
