The MongolZ fails to stick the comeback

After taking down Party Astronauts with ease in their ESL Challenger Jönköping 2024 opener, The MongolZ went up against Aurora in the Group A winners' game.

Nuke was the battleground for the BO1 with Aurora starting with a strong CT side at 8-4. The MongolZ bounced back on their defensive side, going on to tie up the score and then take the lead at 10-9. A win was on the cards but a couple of sloppy rounds on the defence from The MongolZ brought Aurora back in the game and the Skyesports Masters 2024 champions held on for a 13-10 win.

The MongolZ will face the winner of the Party Astronauts - Falcons game tomorrow in the Group A decider game.
