IEM Rio 2024: Asia open qualifier registrations open

ESEA have opened up the Asian open qualifier registrations for IEM Rio 2024. Two open qualifiers will accommodate a maximum of 256 Asian teams each in a single-elimination bo1 bracket. The winners of each qualifier will lock-in their closed qualifier slots alongside two invited teams.

The Asia closed qualifier will take place on 1st and 2nd August 2024, featuring two teams from the open qualifier and two invited teams in a double-elimination bracket with all matches running a bo3 setting. The winner of the closed qualifier advances to IEM Rio 2024 which is set to take place in the second week of October. So far, Indian teams Gods Reign and Revenge Esports have registered for both the qualifiers.
