bLitz leads from the front to keep Playoff dreams alive for The MongolZ

Aurora suffer first defeat in Mumbai

The MongolZ had their Playoff chances in their hands and a win would have booked them a spot in the next stage if they won their game against Group A's toppers, Aurora.

Ancient was the battleground and Aurora started with three rounds in a row before Techno denied deko a 1v2 to get the Asian team on the board. A bLitz quad kill which saw him shut down donut and win an important 1v1 against Lack1 helped The MongolZ gain momentum and take an 8-4 lead. Senzu locked out Aurora from the second pistol and a flawless T side saw The MongolZ take a 13-4 win with their captain bLitz leading from the front with 21 kills. The big win also helps The MongolZ improve their round difference, should qualification to playoffs come down to that.

The win is crucial for The MongolZ which will help them take a step towards the Playoffs while the defeat doesn't affect Aurora's Playoff chances as the Russian team has already locked in their place for the playoffs. The final two Group A games will decide who the other two teams will be moving to the Playoffs from Group A.
