Report: True Rippers finalise on Australian as fifth

True Rippers finalise roster

Following the announcement of letting go of Mcg1LLzZz, True Rippers were without a fifth for a couple of weeks, but reports suggest that the Indian team have found their fifth player to round out the roster.

Dust2 India has learnt that True Rippers have brought in Australian Ethan 'Crunchy' Laker, who will be replacing Mcg!LLzZz and has also joined the team for the upcoming M88 Open League Season 2, for which True Rippers has signed up for. Bringing the Australian onboard also means that True Rippers now have two foreign players in the roster, with them having signed Russian AWPer DayMake earlier this year.

Crunchy has had previous stints with Surge and RKON most recently and has stood in for sunday school as well. Having taken part in the ESL Challenger Melbourne 2024 Oceania Closed Qualifier, IEM Dallas 2024 Oceania Open Qualifier and ESL Challenger League Season 47 Oceania, the 23-year old brings a good amount of experience to the Indian team.

While there has been no official announcement from True Rippers yet, Dust2 India has confirmed from sources close to the matter that Crunchy has also been locked in by the Indian organisation for the upcoming Asia RMR Closed Qualifier as well, where True Rippers have received a direct invite, along with fellow Indian organisation Gods Reign.
