TEAM SPIRIT WINS SHANGHAI MAJOR 2024

Team Spirit started 2024 by taking down FaZe at Katowice and they closed out the year in similar fashion as it was donk denying karrigan and FaZe their second Major, putting up yet another stellar performance which saw Spirit win the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024.

FaZe's pick of Nuke blew up on their face as donk, with magixx stepping up for Spirit saw them put up a strong T side to go 13-8 to draw first blood in the Grand Final. FaZe hit back hard on Spirit's pick of Ancient, as it was ropz once again bailing FaZe out with multiple clutches, which saw them tie up the series following a 13-6 win.

The decider, on Dust2, saw magixx support donk once again as they started with an eight-round defensive half and raced to an 11-4 lead before FaZe fought back on their CT but in the end, donk was too strong for FaZe as they hung on for a 13-11 win as sh1ro closed out a 1v1 against broky.

donk ended the Grand Final with an abnormal 1.67 rating

For Spirit, this is their first Major win, in a year which saw them fight for the title of the best team of the year and win the IEM Katowice 2024 title as well. For FaZe, it's their second Major final loss of the year, after going down to Natus Vincere, earlier in the year at the first CS2 Major.
