Abu Dhabi Gaming Community Cup announced
The Abu Dhabi Community Cup has been announced with Counter-Strike 2 as one of the titles alongside other games like Street Fighter, EAFC mobile, Call of Duty BO6, Tekken and VALORANT. The online tournament begins tomorrow, the 27th of December 2024. Registrations for Counter-Strike 2 are open and teams from the GCC region, India, Iraq and Pakistan are eligible to register.

The tournament will run a single-elimination bracket with all matches including the finals, running in a bo1 setting. The single-elimination bracket accommodates a maximum of 64 teams. The tournament carries a 2,500 AED (~58,000 INR) prize pool with a winner taking home 1,250 AED (~29,000 INR).
A separate third place decider will take place before the finals, awarding the third placed team a cash prize of 400 AED (~9,000 INR).
