w0nderful debuts at 11th spot in Top 20 Players of 2024

NAVI's w0nderful has placed in the 11th spot in HLTV's Top 20 Players of the Year after a spectacular season of wielding the big green. The 20 year old averaged a 1.12 rating across 170 maps played in the year.

After joining the ranks of NAVI in October 2023, w0nderful warmed up to 2024 with a 1.34 rating in the PGL CS2 Copenhagen 2024 European RMR Closed Qualifier A.

Next up was IEM Katowice 2024, where despite an abysmal showing from NAVI, w0nderful turned heads with a 1.20 rated performance. At the PGL CS2 Copemhagen Major 2024, w0nderful held his own, with his 1.06 rating being enough to earn him an EVP.

However, w0nderful hit his stride at the Esports World Cup 2024, narrowly losing the MVP to B1t. NAVI claimed a second title of the year in the form of ESL Pro League Season 20, where w0nderful remained a steady presence. Even at BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2024, he was the 6th highest rated player with his 1.26 rating.

IEM Rio 2024 was his final EVP of the season, with NAVI claiming their third title on the back of w0nderful's 1.12 rating. At the second major of the year, the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024, while rest of NAVI floundered, w0nderful stood right alongside iM at the top of the table for the team.

It has been his incredible consistency alongside his contributions in the opening department that has earned w0nderful a spot in the top 11. With w0nderful coming in at #11, we are closing down to the final 10 players of 2024.
