b1t makes another Top 10 appearance

Natus Vincere's (NAVI)'s b1t has been revealed as the ninth-best player of 2024, making his third appearance on HLTV's Top 20 Players of the Year list.

b1t had rating of 1.13 through 2024, which saw NAVI win the inaugural CS2 Major, Esports World Cup 2024, ESL Pro League Season 20 and IEM Rio 2024. b1t started the year with a underwhelming showing at IEM Katowice 2024, where he put up a rating of 0.96 before improving to a 1.03 rating at the PGL Copenhagen 2024 Major, which saw NAVI being crowned as the first-ever CS2 Major champions. He then stood out with a 1.24 rating at NAVI's disastrous ESL Pro League S19 campaign, where they finished 9-12th. NAVI and b1t struggled at IEM Dallas 2024, with b1t putting in his year's worst showing with a 0.87 rating before pulling up his socks to drop a 1.05 rating at NAVI's second place at the BLAST Spring Finals.

b1t dropped a MVP performance at the Esports World Cup, which NAVI won with b1t putting in a stunning 1.30 rating and continued his strong personal performance at IEM Cologne 2024 as well, where NAVI went down in the Grand Final, with b1t having an EVP performance with 1.23 rating. The Ukrainian star put in another EVP performance at ESL Pro League Season 20, which NAVI won as b1t dropped a 1.16 rating. The final couple of events of the year saw him drop a 1.10 rating at the BLAST Fall Final, a 1.16 rating at IEM Rio 2024 and a 1.19 rating at the BLAST World Final. He rounded out the year with a 1.02 rating at the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024.

By making the HLTV Top 20 Players of the Year 2024 b1t, he also is the third NAVI player after iM and w0nderful to make the list. His ninth-place finish also sees his match his best-place finish on the HLTV Top 20 Player of the Year lists, after having finished ninth in his rookie-year as well in 2021. It's his third time on the list, after making appearances in 2021 and 2022. b1t picked his compatriot jackasmo as his Bold Prediction, expecting the Passion UA youngster to do well in the upcoming year.
