NiKo breaks the record for most consecutive Top 20 appearances

NiKo has broken the record for the most consecutive Top 20 appearances by securing the 4th spot in 2024's list. In the year, the Bosnian superstar averaged a 1.17 rating, with a 1.15 rating at Majors.

NiKo's year kicked off on a reasonably solid note, even if it fell short of showcasing the full extent of his hard carry potential. A 1.13 rating at BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2024, then a 1.13 rating at IEM Katowice 2024, followed by a 1.09 rating at the PGL CS2 Copenhagen Major 2024 could only take G2 to as far as Quarter-Final finishes.

His consistency bore fruits in Dallas, where despite controlling the reins, NiKo maintained a 1.18 rating to help G2 clinch their first title with Stewie2k as a stand-in. It marked his second EVP after getting one for his 1.16 showing at IEM Chengdu.

NiKo hit his stride in the second half of the year, with a 1.32 rated hard carry to the Grand Final of Esports World Cup 2024, earning him his third EVP of the year. NiKo doubled his EVP count in no time, earning one each after victories at BLAST Fall Final 2024, BLAST World Final 2024, and finally after his 1.26 rated performance at the Perfect World CS2 Major 2024.
