Real Original smash Blaze Warriors to move into quarter-finals
Thailand's Real Original booked their place in the quarter-finals of the eXTREMESLAND Asia Open 2024 in style as they dominated Vietnam's Blaze Warriors in a one-sided match in the Group B decider to send their opponents packing from Shanghai and keep themselves alive in the $100k event.
Nuke started with the Thai team coming in with a pistol round defuse to get things going went 4-0 up before Blaze Warriors got their first win. That one was all that they could manage as it was complete domination from Real Original, as they eased to a 13-1 win with RoLEX and BoonRywin topping the scoreboard with 17 kills each.
Ancient saw a bit of a fight from the Vietnamese squad as Blaze Warriors managed to secure four CT rounds and they had a chance to bridge the gap but Real Original turned around a 2v3 in the pistol round on the B site which saw them put up a strong CT half to take the win on Ancient at 13-5 to lock in the series 2-0 and move into the Playoffs.
Real Original's win sees them qualify for the quarter-finals from Group B, along with XO, who had made it to the Playoffs earlier in the day.
