MESA unveil slot distribution for Asian Masters and Nomadic Masters

MESA took to X to announce the slot distribution for MESA Asian Masters and MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2025. These events are MESA's inaugural and concluding events for their Spring Season. MESA Asian Masters is set to serve as the road to PGL Bucharest 2025 for Asian teams.

MESA Asian Masters will not feature invited teams, instead all eight slots are handed out through regional qualifiers across the Asia-Pacific region. The Asian side of things kicks off today and four teams qualify to the closed qualifier through four open qualifiers. The Asian closed qualifier hands out four invites based on the VRS and a double-elimination bracket sends two teams to the MESA Asian Masters 2025.

The slot distribution at MESA Asian Masters 2025 is as follows:

• Asian qualifier: 2 Teams

• Chinese qualifier: 2 Teams

• Oceanic qualifier: 3 Teams

• MENA qualifier: 1 Team

MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2025 will take place in April and May 2025. The event features eight teams and a prize pool of $250,000 USD. Two Asian teams and Two European teams will receive direct invites to the main events based on VRS. Two slots are handed out through the European qualifier and one slot is handed out through the Asian qualifier.

The MESA League Season 4 which takes place in March 2025 will send the winner to the MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2025. The slot distribution for MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2025 is as follows:

• VRS Asia: 2 Teams

• VRS Europe: 2 Teams

• European qualifier: 2 Teams

• Asian qualifier: 1 Team

• MESA League Season 4: 1 Team
