The Huns ease past Eruption
The third upper bracket quarter-final at the MESA Asian Masters 2025 Asia Closed Qualifier saw the Mongolian derby between The Huns and Eruption with The Huns locking in a comfortable 2-0 to continue on in the upper bracket.
The opening map, The Huns' pick of Nuke, saw cobra and Bart4k power The Huns to a 10-2 before the closed things out at 13-6 to draw first blood in the series. Eruption started better on their pick of Dust2, with a 5 round defensive half but it was the xerolte show which saw The Huns pull through on their T side, to close the map 13-8 and lock in a relatively comfortable 2-0.
The win puts The Huns into the upper bracket semi-final where they will face the winner of the Chinggis Warriors vs The QUBE match while Eruption drop to the lower bracket and will take on the loser of the Chinggis Warriors and The QUBE game.
