The MongolZ go down to reigning Major champions

The MongolZ's unbeaten run at the ESL Pro League Season 21 came to a humbling stop as donk and Team Spirit shut down the Asian team to move into the Playoffs. It's not the end of the line for The MongolZ though, as they drop into the 2-1 bracket now.

The series kicked off with a competitive opening half on The MongolZ's pick of Anubis before donk led a near flawless T side to see Spirit seal a 13-6 win. Spirit's pick of Dust2 saw them continue that T-sided momentum as they went 8-4 up before The MongolZ's T side almost pulled things back to overtime with youngster mzinho having impact but the reigning Major champions held on for a 13-11 win to take the series 2-0.
