TheMongolz stay in the fight with a crucial win
TheMongolz kept themselves alive in the Paris Major 2023 Challengers Stage after taking down GamerLegion to go 1-1 to end their first day.
GamerLegion and TheMongolz got their 0-1 game underway on Inferno with GamerLegion stealing the pistol on their CT half. TheMongolz converted their force buy to tie up score on the second round. The force buy helped The Mongolz convert four in a row before GamerLegion got their second round on board thanks to a triple kill hold from Keoz on the B site while acoR gave GamerLegion their third round with a 1v2 clutch. Strong rounds from Bart4k and hasteka saw TheMongolz end their T half with a 9-6 lead.
Techno gave TheMongolz their 10th round as he got an ace on Banana with the dualies. Techno followed up the ace with a quad kill against the full eco from GamerLegion. It was all their players coming with multi-kills as Bart4k came in with a triple kill on the first gun round to give his team their 12th round. Some inspired calling from siuhy saw GamerLegion rack together four rounds in a row to secure double digits and bring the game to a two-round deficit. Triple kills from Annihilation and bLitz on the A site put TheMongolz on match point. acoR kept GamerLegion in the game with an incredible 1v3 AWP clutch on the A site. It was an absolutely chaotic end to the match on the B site as bLitz ended the map with a triple kill which include one knife kill and one nade kill as TheMongolz closed the map 16-11.
bLitz ended the map with a 1.28 rating and topped the server with 21 kills.
